FABULOUS AFRICAN FABRICS supports orphans and vulnerable children living at The Good Samaritan Children's Home in Nairobi, Kenya.
FAF, a 501c3 organization provides food, shelter and educational fees for children and teens. The orphanage was founded by Mercy and John Thuo in 1995. FAF began helping the orphange in 1999. Currently there are 256 young people supported by the orphanage.
Funds are raised through donations, selling ietms made of African Textiles, and participation in funding supported by Global Giving and special events.
FAF ON GLOBAL GIVING has 2 projects . One raises funds for high school tuition and uniforms, while the other raises funds for shoes for all of the orphans. To donate to FAF through Global Giving www.globalgiving.org and insert either number 6163 for tuition or 7377 for shoes. Then follow the directions.
